Ah yes, more proof of Yoda’s unconditional love.
Yesterday morning Yoda and I babysat my friends’ Karen and Joe’s boys. In exchange, Karen, Joe and their boys dogsat Yoda at their house yesterday afternoon.
Just like when Yoda waited for me at the door with constant vigilance when Nancy Rector was watching him in Hot Springs, Arkansas in September (see the photo on the right), yesterday Yoda again waited for me at the door with constant vigilance (see the photo on the left). In fact, Karen and Joe’s son Bobby took it upon himself to make Yoda more comfortable by covering him with a blanket. Then Bobby laid on the floor next to Yoda, set his head on top of Yoda’s body and waited with him. Yoda still didn’t move. He remained constantly vigilant until I finally returned.
I do feel loved, but at the same time I’m a bit frustrated and embarrassed by Yoda’s over the top mommy-issues. Separation anxiety is a bitch. But it’s something I’ve chosen to live with because really, I love my dog like there is no tomorrow.

I love how these photos are so similar. And we ALL love Yoda. Don’t worry about his separation anxiety — I think you manage to work with it quite well.
Thanks Steven..he certainly is loveable. I think I’ll keep him. 🙂
